MEG SHUTZER IS AN AWARD-WINNING DOCUMENTARY FILMMAKER AND MULTI-MEDIA JOURNALIST.

In her past life, Meg flew all over the world as a strategy consultant for Dalberg Advisors— working on documentaries as a side hustle. Now she is completing her Master’s degree at UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism. Meg is interested in stories that call attention to issues of social justice and those that celebrate the under-recognized accomplishments of women and other marginalized groups. When she isn't chasing down a story, you can find her teaching classes at the 17th Street Athletic Club, on a bicycle riding to Los Angeles with the AIDS/LifeCycle, and/or convincing friends to do crazy sportsy things.

Video

Meg’s feature length documentary New Generation Queens: a Zanzibar soccer story premiered at the Manhattan Film Festival in 2015. It went on to win numerous awards and to play on four continents.
